Climatic test chambers condition specimens to controlled temperature and humidity in line with IEC 60068-2 environmental test methods — for example IEC 60068-2-1 (Cold), 60068-2-2 (Dry heat), 60068-2-78 (Damp heat, steady state) and 60068-2-30 (Damp heat, cyclic). The set points, dwell times and cycle profile are selected from the relevant test specification.
