Standard reference

IEC 60695-11-4 specifies the 50 W nominal flame test; the burner and flame arrangement correspond to Figure A.1 of the standard. The test applies a defined small flame to the specimen for set application/withdrawal cycles to assess ignitability and flame spread of the material or end-product.
