Impact Drop Test Device.

The Impact Drop Test Device subjects plugs, socket-outlets and accessories to controlled impacts by dropping a weight onto the specimen, assessing mechanical robustness per IEC 60884-1.

Drop height is adjustable from 10 to 250 mm with weights from 100 to 1500 g. ULMEKA designs and manufactures the device; drop height, weights and fixturing are configured on request.

The impact/drop test of IEC/EN 60884-1 subjects plugs, socket-outlets and accessories to controlled mechanical impacts (tumbling-barrel or pendulum) to verify that the enclosure and live-part protection are not impaired by the mechanical stresses of normal handling.
