High-Pressure Hydraulic Test Device.
Hydrostatic pressure testing of hoses and pressure components, 10–600 bar.
The High-Pressure Hydraulic Test Device performs hydrostatic pressure testing of hoses, hose assemblies and pressure components. It fills the sample with hydraulic oil and raises the pressure in a controlled way to verify proof and burst behaviour, check for leakage, and observe change in length and volumetric expansion under pressure.
A hydraulic pump supplies the pressure and a PLC with a 7" touchscreen controls the cycle, showing pressure-versus-time values on screen. The test area is custom-built to the sample, so the fixture matches the part under test.
ULMEKA designs and manufactures this device. The standard test range is 10–600 bar; higher pressures are available on request. The exact pressure range and fixturing are configured during the quotation stage to suit the sample and the applicable standard.
Standard reference
EN ISO 1402 specifies hydrostatic testing of rubber and plastics hoses and hose assemblies — including proof, burst, leakage and change-in-length tests at defined pressures. The device applies the controlled hydrostatic pressure required by the standard.
