Vertical Burning Test Device (EN 61386)

Test Procedure

1. The conduit to be tested is placed in the vertical burning chamber of the device.
2. Initially, the burner is set at a 90-degree angle, and the flame height and temperature are measured. Afterward, the burner is adjusted to a 45-degree angle.
3. The flame source specified in the standard is applied to the conduit for a predetermined period.
4. The flame propagation distance and duration on the conduit are measured and evaluated.
