Standard reference

MIL-STD-810H Method 506.6 defines three procedures: Procedure I — Rain and Blowing Rain (combined rainfall with wind to drive water against the test item), Procedure II — Exaggerated rain (higher rainfall rate to shorten test time where blowing-rain facilities are not available), and Procedure III — Drip (condensation or falling water from upper surfaces). The applicable procedure, rainfall rate, wind velocity and exposure time are selected from the equipment’s life-cycle environmental profile.

This chamber can be configured to run the Method 506.6 procedures relevant to your specimen, and can be combined with IEC 60529 IPX water-ingress stages where the test plan requires both military and IP ratings.
